A sizable open circuit, suction subsonic wind tunnel with a working section of 450 mm by 450 mm and 1000 mm length. It provides a cost-effective balance between being able to carry out advanced aerodynamics study, while having a smaller footprint than the largest subsonic wind tunnel.
Applications
Air passes into the wind tunnel through a honeycomb flow straightener and a grille. It then passes into an aerodynamically designed effuser (cone) that accelerates the air in a linear manner before it moves through the working section.
