This process plant is designed for the flotation of two base metals from polymetallic ore deposits, which may also contain precious metals. It enables recovery of sulphide metals into two separate concentrates using differential or sequential flotation.
The system is suitable for metals such as copper, lead, zinc, cobalt, nickel, molybdenum, pyrite, and sulphide-associated gold and silver.
The plant includes:
- Single-stage crushing
- Conveying
- Primary grinding
- Hydrocyclone classification (or optional spiral classification)
- Slurry pumping
- Conditioning tanks
- Two rougher flotation circuits
- Two sets of three-stage concentrate cleaning circuits
Optional regrind circuits can be added for one or both metal streams if required.
Standard packages are available for the following capacities:
- 25 tonnes/day (1 tonne/hour)
- 50 tonnes/day (2 tonnes/hour)
- 100 tonnes/day (4 tonnes/hour)
- 250 tonnes/day (10 tonnes/hour)
This is a standard setup that includes the major components of a complete metallurgical flowsheet. A detailed engineering study may be required to identify additional requirements for optimal plant design.
