Product Overview

This crystallisation pilot plant is designed to obtain crystals of a given solute from a dilute solution that has first been concentrated by solvent evaporation.

Applications

Laboratory-scale apparatus with cooling water flow alarms to stop heating and protect operators, temperature alarms to protect heating elements, borosilicate glass and 316L stainless steel construction, removable vessels without dismantling the upper reactor section, thermal fluid heating, and heating regulation with ramp setpoint programmer. The pilot plant comprises: Cylindrical Grignard-type reactor with thermal fluid double-jacket heating and drain valve; borosilicate glass lid.

Condenser cooling water supplies each fitted with a flow control valve and water circulation monitor to stop heating on coolant failure. Thermal fluid heating and circulation baths, 2 kW heating power (thermal fluid supplied). IP55 control and instrumentation cabinet with emergency stop, start/stop buttons, and the following interfaces: agitation speed variators; two digital agitation speed indicators.
