This bench, designed for closed-circuit operation, is a complete experimental facility for studying the performance and characteristics of four pumps of different designs. With its feed tank it is hydraulically self-contained and requires only an electrical supply.

One stainless steel frame. One feed tank with drain, two draw-off points, and external level visualisation. One horizontal centrifugal pump. One axial pump (progressive cavity type). One piston pump with pulsation damper. One turbine pump. One variable speed drive / controller with speed display, also showing frequency, power consumed, current, and voltage. A selector switch chooses the pump to be studied. Two rotameters for low or high flow rate. Three Bourdon pressure gauges: one at suction and two at delivery.
