Coagulation Flocculation Decantation Pilot

This pilot allows addressing the elementary processes of physico-chemical engineering in water treatment. Coagulation and flocculation processes facilitate the elimination of suspended and colloidal matter.

Coagulation eliminates electric charges on colloids to form larger particles that can sediment by flocculation. Elimination is achieved in the subsequent solid-liquid separation step: decantation.
